The point of games?

I had a conversation with an old friend today, and among the things we discussed was the state of the American financial markets, and our layperson opinion was it's in a shitty shitty spot. I cannot deny it scares and worries me, how can I let myself worry about video games when the world is in a hand basket?

I will, it's a part of my life - video games are hard to beat in Hays - we all need to realize there are more impressive things in life, and we shouldn't spend all our time and money on the latest and greatest...
