Freedoms' last gasp

Because the video game gods hate me, I've been condemned to school this wednesday. I have less than 36 hours of freedom left. A particularly painful twist to the count down would be the act of purchasing school books, in leu of drinking money I'm supposed to ensure my education is fulfilled. At least I can still take my relaxing evenings and succeed in the quest of the foul homework.
I forget how esoteric my knowledge of computers, games, and the arcane warcraft is, having spent half an hour or so shopping with a friend online to spruce up his MacBook Pro, I must thank my father for his geeky nature he imbued upon me. I still have a hankering for the 2d Duke Nukem classics.

Speaking of ancient dos games, CrossOver for the Mac is almost released enabling me to run some windows applications without having to install that dreaded OS on my aluminium baby, so I want to start playing the classic games of yore. Please send me suggestions, but I'm already going to get the older Duke Nukems and Commander Keen 1-3.

I suspect I won't have enough time in my nights to play epic games regularly, Oblivion will be my last until summer break (hopefully), so expect DS reviews or other short games I can play at my regular job. The Viva Piñata review is almost up, just need to throw it past my editor, she's harsh so it may be a week till it's out.

Oh yeah, before I completely forget, the 10th is the MacWorld SF Expo, hit up the IRC or webcasts (is his Jobsness doing it live?) - do it else the mac gods will doom you to virii.
