Late nights at the Mall; Halo 3

Nothing like a 42 inch LCD to quench the hordes of Halo fanbois hunger for all things headshot.
The ad hoc tournament was pretty sad. Not because of the turnout, that was quite good,
but because one team dominated the entire night with their sick head shots and superior team play.

An old high school friend of mine on break after a tour in Afghanistan. Heading out to Iraq later this year for fun and profit. He couldn't even buy Halo 3, no xbox. Quite sad, maybe I should make a donation for him.

Yes, finally after years of desire, I have the limited edition, to match my limited halo 2 edition. I managed to play a bit at work (a very contrived setup on a tiny itty bitty desk... better hope the boss doesn't find out about it. Hmmm!

I'm on the third level right now driving along towards New Mombassa while avoiding the heavy artillery. Thoughts to follow later this week. But a quick one: why did Bungie have the brutes really nice armor "pop" and disappear after you hit them enough times? it throws me out of the game play almost every time....
